I know I complain about the weather like anyone else but I have to admit that some of my best shots are taken on days with very mixed weather. Going out between showers or right after it has rained for me is the best. The colours are so bold and vivid, the air is so very clear, the contrast is perfect and the visibility is outstanding. There are days when I take off on a lovely bright morning, which soon turns horrid and eventually I get soaked, cold and shivering but I inevitably come back with some great shots. Or it can start gloomy and foggy and turn into a glorious colourful experience with wonderful light and rainbows and blues skies. Sometimes it just changes all the time from hot to cold and freezing and then hot again! There is just one rule - be prepared and protect the camera at all times. Then everything is just fine.
The following images are from my most frequently visited route. That is why I have framed this place in some many forms, shapes and colours.
It is hard to believe it's the same area in every collage. I don't even think the road has a name but the area is called Bunnagippaun. It is situated just out of Oughterard on the way to Casla / Costelloe, Co. Galway, Ireland.
Enjoy the view!
Thank you for stopping by ;-)
