Addicted to Water
I don't know about you but when someone mentions the word summer, the first thing that comes to my mind is WATER - shimmering, cool, refreshing, gorgeous, irresistible, fantastic water. I am a really serious water addict. If it is warm enough, I am in it. I have dipped into glacier lakes, a wild selection of mountain streams and rivers, any type of ponds and lakes in many countries, The Black sea, The Mediterranean sea, The Channel and lately in the Atlantic ocean. Hopefully in the future, I will add more places to my collection. (smile)
Recently I met this lovely Connemara Pony. He is like the mascot of Moycullen.
He lives in a field right before all the hubbub happens.
I also cannot resist a good photo when I see one,
He is SO charming!!
He can be really friendly or be just so bored and ignore you to death no matter what you do.
I guess everyone tries to grab his attention when passing.
On a few occasions I got lucky!!
Here is me and the pretty pony from Connemara that lives in the Heart of Moycullen
Since the weather is pretty bad right now - rain, wind, clouds and all that - I crave for colour and light. It always happens to me if I am stuck inside and the only colours are dark grey, dark brown and more dark of everything. And since I prefer to take photos outdoors with natural light inside I feel a bit restrained and imprisoned. So I search for colour to lift my spirits up and I always find something in my database. I am still organizing all the images I have taken over the years and today I chose the wild rose. There is plenty of those in the area where I live and they make gorgeous photography subjects!!I hope you will agree. So, here is a splash of colour from me, hiding from the wind and the rain today, searching for enlightenment, light and beautiful colours.
Thank you for the visit
IF YOU HAVEN'T HAVE ENOUGH FLOWERS HAVE A LOOK AT THIS FLOWER DREAM
I have to admit that one of the best things ever is walking with my boxers.
They are fun, they are a constant source of entertainment and they are always there for you when you need company and affection. All they ask in return is regular meals, hugs and of course long walks to keep their energy in check.
There is nothing more fun than walking with my boxers.
Here is a quick peak at my last walk when Patch decided to bring some turf home, and of course he chose the longest log he could find!!
Someone even asked me: Is your dog stealing turf?! I have to admit that I did not have anything clever to say to that.....
